About the Role
6 – 8 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) at a reputable M&A boutique, Big Four firm, or in investment banking at a leading international bank (e.g., J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, HSBC) at VP or Senior Manager level.
Strong exposure to the tech sector; ranging from software and deep tech to hardware.
Affinity with or direct experience working with startups and scaleups is highly desirable.
Experience in Transaction Services, particularly financial due diligence, at a Big Four firm is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
Create high-quality pitch decks, supported by in-depth market and competitor research.
Independently build and manage financial models (e.g., DCF, LBO, comparables) with a strong focus on accuracy.
Prepare and review commercial deal materials, including full ownership of information memorandums, teasers, and management presentations.
Conduct market screenings, competitor analysis, and build likely buyer lists to support pitch materials.
Build and maintain longlists and shortlists for clients and prospects.
Support due diligence processes by organizing and reviewing data room materials.
Summarize key findings from due diligence reports and advisor insights for internal use.
Continuously improve and standardize internal templates and processes (e.g., model structures, pitch deck layouts, valuation tools).
Serve as a core execution resource on projects, operating with minimal oversight.
Own the preparation and delivery of a bi-weekly newsletter covering corporate finance insights and updates.
Manager/Senior Manager – Corporate Finance
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Added advantage if fully or Part qualified in a professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and with experience in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
